The Fourth Annual Gourmet Seafood & Spirits Festival, is taking place at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, August 17 - 20, 2017.
The Gourmet Seafood & Spirits Festival showcases some of best seafood and hand-crafted spirits from Savannah and around the country. The event also included an AquaCurean Challenge seafood recipe competition and a hand-crafted cocktail competition.
The mission is to create a community event that draws participation from the local and national stages. Moreover, its goal is to raise money for children’s charities here in Savannah through the Savannah Harbor Foundation.

Thursday, August 17 – “Coastal Chef’s Table”, 6:30 – 10:30 pm, $125
The Westin Savanah Harbor – Newly renovated Grand Ballroom
Guests will be treated to delicacies from coastal regions around the country, perfectly paired wines, spirits and cocktails as well as a dazzling demonstrations by renowned chefs. Featured chefs will include Corporate Executive Chef for Certified Angus Beef: Tony Biggs, Westin Savannah Executive Chef: Eric Cousin, ‘Catch’ Executive Chef and “Top Chef” star Keith Rhodes, Guy’s Grocery Games’ Carl Ruiz, Charlotte culinary star Jonathan Moore, and Savannah Tech’s Jean Vendeville. Pacci Italian Kitchen & Craft Butcher Rusty Bowers will provide inspiration for the pre-function reception. This year’s theme is the “Southern Coast” and will feature surf and turf with some surprises too. Guests will delight as they enter the Grand Ballroom of The South’s Downtown Resort to discover a reimagined space designed by Event Haus Rentals and sit at the table of world-renowned chefs and mixologists. The sights, sounds and aromas of the kitchen fill the room as guests enjoy and participate in stunning culinary demonstrations.
Friday, August 18 – “Last Blast of Summer” Lowcountry BBQ & Oyster Roast, 6:30 – 9:00, $40

The only thing you need to pack for this outdoor picnic is your appetite! Gather your best friends and head to the Westin Savannah Harbor’s Boardwalk & River Lawn for all-you-can-eat oysters, Big Green Egg Demonstrations by Plantation Lumber, and Craft Butcher Rusty Bowers. We'll have Lowcountry Boil, BBQ, refreshing tastes of summer and southern rock against the backdrop of the Savannah River. Beer and wine provided by Blue Point Lager & Sea Glass Wines with a cash bar available. Delicious dishes and more at this all-new celebration to the summer season.
Friday, August 18 – “Last Blast of Summer" Golf Tournament, 12:00 - 5:00pm, $700 per foursome
The Club at Savannah Harbor – Golf Course & Club
Another new addition to the activities, this is a fundraiser for the Savannah Harbor Foundation and Coastal Jazz Association Scholarship Fund. It's a golf tournament like you've never seen. Players compete for great prizes in a casual "Beach" atmosphere. Frozen drinks, Sand Castles in the new bunkers, and we encourage you to play in your bare feet--just like Slammin' Sammy Snead! Then join us for oysters and BBQ with beautiful views of Savannah on the river lawn.
Saturday, August 19 – “AquaCurean Challenge”, 2 – 5 pm, $65 per person
The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa – Resort Takeover
An annual favorite, the AquaCurean Challenge showcases the immense talent of regional chefs, mixologists and more. Guests are invited to feast on fresh coastal fare while sipping on wine and craft brews, dancing to live music and, of course, voting for their favorite dishes. Participants are all competing for votes of attendees to be crowned the AquaCurean Challenge Champion winning cash and prizes. Old Forester Bourbon, Craft & Crew Whiskey, Absolut Elyx Vodka, Plymouth Gin and Herradura Tequila. Enjoy our Official Beer from Blue Point Brewing or Official Wines from Sea Glass Wines in case that is more your style. Participating restaurants and beverage partners will include Aqua Star, 17Hundred90, a.lure, Pacci and more. Vendors will fill interior and exterior spaces of the hotel to encourage exploration of The South’s Downtown Resort!
Sunday, August 20 – “Fresh Catch & Cocktails Jazz Brunch” - 12:30 – 3:30 pm, $65

Cap off four days of food and fun at the annual Fresh Catch & Cocktails Jazz Brunch at The Westin Savannah Harbor’s Aqua Star Seafood Kitchen. Guests will be treated to champagne, a Bloody Mary bar, seafood, a breakfast buffet and the superb sounds of Savannah’s own Jeremy Davis Equinox Trio.
